FESTIVAL POSTPONED TO Wednesday, June 23 8:30 / 12:30
Following an explosion due to gas leak and a power outage, the festival has been postponed to Wednesday, June 23 with the same hours: / We present our apologies to the participants, including participants from afar, even from afar as well as students who will unfortunately not come because of the hardships of LAC: / As you hoping many Wednesday, June 23, the festival is open to the public .... you can come along! : D
The jury pre -selection met Wednesday, June 2 to make the final selection of films in competition for the 2010 festival.
First we want to thank the participants for their work and for their realization.
We want to thank you for your participation.
We've had this year a larger number of films and we had to take more time for this selection to assess each production.
The analytical framework used was:
Scenario: originality, narrative quality, informative wealth.
Image: Framing, focus, movement, quality ...
Sound: Quality originality, relation image / sound ...
Editing: Coupling, efficiency / speed, fitness image / sound track, generic ...
The duration of the films is very important and also comes into consideration.
films too long actually pose problems, but too short films also raise other problems!
Two minutes of credits for a minute of film is difficult to project the movies!
Other requirements came into play:
-quality projection ( sound and image) to its attention, some films have been ruled out because of this flaw.
-equitable distribution between school, college and high school based movies come,
it will involve the greatest institutions of various origins (on this year!)
it will show various achievements, varied, sometimes disturbing, but the most relevant possible.
For participants not selected, do not get discouraged and try your luck again next year.
