Cinéjules enters its 11th edition this year.
This event organized by the College Jules Ferry, in conjunction with the town of Hyeres and film Olbia offers a festival of school video productions by bringing together students (college and High School) in the departments of Var and Alpes Maritimes Bouches du Rhone

The 2007 festival also enjoyed an excellent projection quality. In fact it took place inside the cinema Olbia (room 4). Dimension film is immediately granted with an outstanding quality of projection (image size, possibility of full black ...) and what is more comfortable! (Seats and air conditioning!)
It seemed important to the organizers to give this film dimension to allow school productions to open on the city through a friendly place and the public: the theater.
Indeed, the objective of this festival is to democratize the most exciting and rewarding tool that is the video by allowing students to show their work in the best conditions possible. In this regard the organizers have promoted the number of participants to encourage institutions to continue making films in school.
Also new for the 2007 price of the public who request a large organization.
Four individual applications were accepted. These are college students or high school who make films "at home" with their own, they show a certain motivation for video and film. It deserved to be encouraged and their two prizes were awarded.


Acknowledgements and Conclusion:
The organizers wish to thank especially Ms. Mangot for allowing us to project the achievements of students in a real cinema!

Thank Chambourlier Ms. Guerin and the Mayor of Hyeres for their moral and financial support!
We thank the jury for their availability and courage (2H30 projection!) and all institutions that participated in the festival without whom this meeting would not exist. The purpose of this event is to foster a shared passion and this year trade has been particularly intense and interesting, thank you all.

FESTIVAL 2009 OFFICIAL SELECTION RESULTS

The pre-selection jury met Wednesday, June 4 to make the final selection of films competing for the 2009 festival.
First we want to thank the participants for their work and their achievement. The analytical
used was:
Scenario: Originality, narrative quality, informative wealth
Image: Framing, focus, movement
Sound: Quality, originality
Assembly: Coupling, efficiency / speed, matching image / sound track, a generic
Another important criterion was used: the duration!
very interesting films were removed for exceeding. We recall that a tolerance of 30 seconds is allowed but we can not grant more time without disadvantaging other participants! Thank you for your understanding.
Three Films (very interesting) were rejected for a problem of incompatibility with the public. We recall that some scenes can not be shown to young audiences (schools, college)

For participants not selected, do not get discouraged and try your luck again next year.

Registration for the festival is still running! " 2009 are completed. We thank you for your participation.

We recorded 71 films entered in various categories (fiction, reportage, documentary, animation, video art, docu-fiction) schools, colleges and high schools.

Some of you have already sent the film or films digitized form of tape, computer file (. MPGE or. Avi) or DVD.

Article 1: Objectives of the festival

• Promote dissemination of film or video productions performed in school or extracurricular activities.
• Organize a meeting to compare the output, compare, evaluate and thus develop the critical participants.
• Provide opportunities for participants to exchange their thoughts and impressions on productions presented and thus promote fruitful exchanges.
• Developing thinking and spirit critical students face audiovisual productions.
• Encourage students' creativity through a unique project that will allow them to develop all phases of video creation with the effects induced in various educational disciplines (French, History, Geography, Visual Arts, Technology ...)
• Addressing all aspects of entertainment across various categories : fiction , reportage, documentary, animation 2D, 3D animation, video art, video clip ...
• enable participants to analyze, evaluate products, criticize and give their opinion at the presentation of " Audience Award. "

Article 2: Registration procedures and organization of the contest:

• The contest is open to all classes and groups students from schools FRANCE (CM2) College (6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd) and school (second, first, terminal) and post-bac class (age limit 20 years) working within a project in school (class pac class project ...) or an extracurricular activity or association (Club, workshop ...) or free candidate.
